CEMS Validation & Emission Monitoring AFR /Co-Processing
Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) is a real-time pollution emission monitoring system that is used to measure the pollutant levels in exhaust gas from different industrial sources at a higher frequency (e.g., once or more per minute).
To comply with the regulatory requirement, CEGTH follows Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) specifications and revised guidelines for Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) for PM measurement with special reference to emission trading programs (1st Revised Guidelines for Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems August 2018). Standard reference method of Iso-kinetic sampling technique was adopted for the comparison study of online data received from PM-CEMS. The calibration procedure involves regressing CEMS reading against manual (Iso-kinetic) sample measurements and estimating a linear equation of a line through the points.
Gaseous parameters viz. SO2, NOx, CO, CO2 & O2 are measured by using portable CEMS (HORIBA make PG 350)
Emission Monitoring AFR /Co-Processing
Emission Monitoring during AFR feeding is performed as per the CPCB guidelines & notification dt. 10/05/2016.
CEGTH has the Expertise to Measure the following Parameters in Emission Monitoring during AFR Feeding Stack:
PM, SO2, NOx, HCl, HF, TOC, Hg and its compound, Cd + TI and their compounds, Antimony (Sb), Arsenic (As), Lead (Pb), Cobalt (Co), Chromium (Cr), Copper (Cu), Manganese (Mn), Nickel (Ni), Vanadium (V) and their compounds & Dioxins & Furans (17 Nos. Congener) by using glass sampling train based on USEPA method.
